Lovely and charming staff during our stay. Exceptionally comfortable beds, air conditioner and coffee in the room. Easy free parking and satisfactory breakfast with great options.

We ate in the nice restaurant for one dinner and one breakfast which was good priced. It had excellent views over the ocean. The location in a lovely area was marvellous and good and there were all the main shops and supermarkets nearby.

Check-in staff were helpful and accommodating. The room felt dated with a lack of modern amenities.

I have stayed at Auto Lodge many times over the years and find it handy to the city centre, the coastal walkway and very close to where elderly relations live. It is starting to get a little tired now but still meets my needs except that our room this time didn't meet expectations. See below. Staff were friendly and provided a toaster so we could have breakfast but other food we had bought to share went to waste.
We were disappointed in our room at Auto Lodge as on your Booked.net site we were told that the room had a private balcony with sea views, which it did, but part of our reason for booking here was that the room had a kitchennette with a stove and microwave and the lounge area had a sofa. None of these facilities were available. As we were travelling to spend time with children and grandchildren these facilities would have been useful and we had gone prepared with food that I had intended to share with family. This was unable to happen because of lack of facilities.

We were in unit 6 to start with but work men staying in other unit were noisy and men on other side were snoring all night felt like they were in the same room as us so we asked to be moved next morning which was not a problem at all, we were moved to unit 35 which was lovely quiet own balcony so we could have a wine in the afternoon and decor was to a higher standard we would ask for that unit again next time we stay .

Spoiler alert, it's worth it!
The bed was comfortable, and the location made exploring easy. Friendly staff enhanced our experience. Don't miss out on the good meals at Julianna's. They were superb!

Unfortunately, the room decor was tired, with noticeable wear and tear, like cracked bathroom tiles and outdated furnishings. The bed left much to be desired for comfort, and some facilities-including the pool, advertised as hot but felt cool-didn't meet expectations.

Very welcoming from the start - made a very good impression - great customer service (We got upgraded as soon as we arrived as my sister and I were travelling with my 80 year old mum). The room was very quiet, very clean and very comfortable. Thank you - I would certainly return.....
Nothing - except the restaurant food....it was fair - and I was not impressed that when my sister could not eat her main she wasnt even asked if she wanted a refund. Not good customer service....

Family with children beware
Started with a nice surprise of getting a bigger room than expected . Had a good time using the indoor heated pool after a long day of activities which helped the kids unwind.
It wasn't cheap , but still acceptable.
